Heartlines Spec is a Canadian SFF short fiction and poetry magazine focused on long-term relationships: platonic, romantic, or familial. We publish stories and poetry with strong, confident relationships amid all the sci-fi/fantasy.
We release three times a year with over 13 pieces of original content in each issue. Heartlines Spec is available in both print and electronic versions, as well as released in full to subscribers. We accept works from international writers but aim for a percentage of Canadian content.
Heartlines donates to the following charities: International Development and Relief Foundation (IDRF), Water First, True North Aid, Community Living Ontario. We have 20 complimentary yearly subscriptions to anyone donating $20+ to these (or other likeminded) charities. Email us!
